Watch Bracket & Korede Bello Make a Comeback In 'Just Like That' Video
The singing duo Bracket became prominent on the scene with stand out tracks "Yori Yori" and "Girl" which appealed to a vast audience.
Since 2015, after the release of their fourth studio album, Alive, they dropped a few singles such as "Fever", "Chop Kiss" and "Malo" which kinda #cameandwent. They might've struck gold however with their latest release, "Just Like That" featuring Korede Bello, which just got a music video
The song is no musical masterpiece, but they never promised us that. "Just Like That" is not a far cry from Bracket's usual songs, and with its catchy beat (produced by Jaynonny) and super repetitive lyrics, it is right on path for a Nigerian club banger.
Korede Bello has been a bit quiet musically all year since his album Belloved #cameandwent, but he came back quite strong on this feature. He also seems to have grown a bit taller (it might be a taller afro actually), and his voice seems to have finally broken. The Mavin recruit sings his verse in French, English and Igbo (kinda like Falz on La Fête) which is probably the best part of the song, and also when he does a cheeky sample of The Weeknd's "I Feel It Coming".
The recently released music video sees them dancing and swagging in the middle of the desert with a white Bentley parked in the middle for decor- groundbreaking! Quick question though, does Korede Bello EVER get hot? We really don't understand how he is dancing in the sweltering heat of a desert wearing a bomber jacket!
