Terry Tha Rapman begins the year with New Album, 'Year of BANS'

Terry Tha Rapman is one of Nigeria’s greatest rappers ever - that’s certain. The problem is that a lot of music enthusiasts don’t seem to respect it enough. When they roll out lists, there is an uncertainty to where Terry ranks. Guess what, Terry knows it too.

On Year of B.A.N.S, his eighth solo commercial body of work, he is morose, reminiscent, dismissive and introspective. ‘B.A.N.S’ is a trend that he coined with his critically-acclaimed 2010 album, Boyz Are Not Smiling.

This soundtrack album was largely collaborative with a rich feature and production list. The project features Pherowshuz, Marvis, Rezman, Overdose and many others.
