Stormzy is back with the "Vossi Bop" Music Video

April 26, 2019 | By Pan African Music

After more than a year without releasing new music, Stormzy returns in great shape with the single "Vossi Bop", in reference to the viral dance created by NL Vossi.

Henry Scholfield's energetic video shows the star of English grime at the heart of impressive choreography. Special mention for the cameo appearance of Idris Elba.

Despite the lack of a new single, 2018 was a great year for the Croydon-born MC. He launched his #Merky Records label and a book collection called #Merky Books in collaboration with Penguin Random House UK. He also created a Cambridge University scholarship, The Stormzy Scholarship, and was the first grime artist to headline the Glastonbury Festival.
