IAMDDB Put Jazz Music on Time

August 22, 2017 | By Souria Cheurfi

At the age of 21, this beautiful girl from Manchester is an author, composer and producer. One could compare her style to that of artists such as ABRA and Ray BLK, from the new wave R & B. But it is especially her jazzy harmonies that give a unique cachet to her songs. Diana Debrito, her real name, also qualifies her style of urban jazz: she likes to mix genres to deliver a kind of jazz 2.0. His inspirations range from African jazz artist Jimmy Dludlu to Londoner Lianne La Havas to her saxophonist father Manuel De Brito.

Of Portuguese and Angolan origin, IAMDDB has already visited the national jazz festival in Angola with her father, where she sang in front of the president. But beyond her background, she is especially fond of Manchester, the city where she grew up.

Her first album "WAEVEYBBY Volume 1" was released last year, and she's back this year with "Vibe, Volume 2". The release of her last video 'Pause / A Colors Show' is only a good excuse for you to discover the world of this promising talent.

It's mermaid season!
